My Story
Viewpoint
As an artist, I believe in the power of stories to connect us on a deeper level. Through my work, I aim to weave together beauty, mystery, and emotion, creating pieces that invite viewers to explore their own stories through the lens of folklore, mythology, and literature.
Background
Background
My artistic journey began with a love for dark fairytales, mythology, and the occult. Initially studying law, I found my true passion in creative expression and costume design, eventually channeling my fascination with history and narrative into my own artwork—a space where I could freely explore these themes.
Inspirations
Growing up as an avid reader, I was captivated by stories rich with symbolism and mystery. Artists like Aubrey Beardsley and Harry Clarke deeply influenced my work. Their intricate, bold styles inspired me to craft my own signature blend of traditional and digital mediums, transitioning from aspiring artist to professional.
Significant Moments
A pivotal moment in my career was when I shifted focus to creating works influenced by folklore and mythology. This allowed me to connect deeply with my audience, gaining recognition for my ability to reimagine timeless stories with a modern, evocative touch, especially in the world of dark academia and folkloric history.
Currently
I’m currently working on a series that delves into the cultural significance of dark fairytales. These works explore their historical roots, examining how they have evolved across different cultures. My goal is to create thought-provoking pieces that resonate with those who find beauty in the shadows.
